NZ2130 : Land Slump, Auckland Park

taken 16 years ago, near to Bishop Auckland, County Durham, England

Land Slump, Auckland Park
Land Slump, Auckland Park
Fairly recent. This must have caused some constriction of the flow of the River Gaunless. It looks as though several trees where still standing and simply slid down the slope. They have since been felled and only the stumps remain.
