David Lloyd George Shunts at Porthmadog Harbour Station
Before too long, this view will be consigned to history. With the Welsh Highland Railway soon to operate out of Harbour Station, it is planned to widen The Cob at the Porthmadog end, and slew the station tracks to the left. This work will accommodate a platform for the Welsh Highland Railway trains.

"David Lloyd George" shunts its train out of a loop line, before running into the platform line. This locomotive dates from 1992, and is the line's most powerful Double Fairlie.
