The Creighton Memorial Hall, Embleton
The Creighton Memorial Hall, Embleton
Said to be the largest village hall in the county and named after Mandell Creighton, who was vicar 1875-1884 and later became Bishop of London. (From Wikipedia). From the splendid ventilation turret I should think that it was built in the late 19C or early 20C, although the gable looks younger.
