The Church of St Radegund, Scruton
The church has its origins in the 12th century with restoration being carried out in 1865 by G Fowler Jones.

Radegund was the daughter of a King of Thuringia in the 5th century. After her conversion to Christianity she established a community of nuns at Poitiers in France, where she was noted for her good works among the sick and the poor. There are only five churches in England with this dedication. SK7160 : Church of St. Radegund, Maplebeck TL4558 : The St Radegund, King Street TR1439 : St Mary & Radegund Church
