Built in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee - and also local horse benefactor William Miles, hence a drinking fountain (on the other side). Designed by Thomas Andrews of London. At the junction of Queen St (behind camera, leading to the city centre) and New North Road (right and ahead).
