Shotesham Mill - wheel race and mill house
This view was taken from the footbridge over the wheel race, looking up the wheel race. The mill house can be seen in the background. Shotesham Mill was situated on the River Tas in Shotesham St Mary. It was built in the 1700s and stopped working towards the end of WWII, when the last miller retired. After having been badly damaged by floods the mill was demolished in 1949. The mill house is still standing and is presently a B&B establishment.
