SD4969 : LNWR boundary post, Crag Bank

taken 8 years ago, near to Carnforth, Lancashire, Great Britain

LNWR boundary post, Crag Bank
LNWR boundary post, Crag Bank
London & North Western Railway boundary post, about 350m from the railway line, by the canal.
It presumably dates from the time that the Lancaster Canal was the property of the LNWR. The LNWR was formed in 1846 and existed until the railways were grouped in 1923.
