The coming of the railway to nearby Glynn J4099 : Glynn station, Northern Ireland Railways (1) made Gleno accessible to tourists. McComb’s guide (published in Belfast in 1861) describes the village as “a romantic village, on a stream along which there are several waterfalls” J3996 : Glenoe waterfall (36).
