Stained glass window, St Mary's Church
The east window is a memorial to Charles Godfrey Cutcliffe Hyne, a Lt. in the Irish Guards, killed aged 18, on November 21st 1916. At the feet of a 'young' risen Christ the bundled uniform symbolises Charles; the two soldiers are his two friends who survived the war.

At the very top, on the left is the Badge of the Irish Guards and on the right is the coat of arms of the Cutcliffe Hyne family.
