Old Oak Common Depot
Old Oak Common Depot
Viewed from the crew footbridge that used to connect with the canal towpath at this point (now removed). The neat layout of the tracks to the carriage sidings is apparent in this view. The tracks next to the wall lead to the loco depot. An 08 shunter can be seen approaching with two enparts vehicles - milk churn bogie vans now in departmental use. The Grand Union Canal is on the other side of the wall around 20ft above the level of the railway tracks.
