TQ6232 : Sussex Border Path leaves the B2099

The B2099 starts south of Frant at Sleeches Cross TQ5834 : Sleeches Cross leaving the A267. It then goes South Eastwards.
It goes under the London - Hastings Railway Line and enters Wadhurst. The B2100 crosses at a multiplex here. The B2099 goes to Shovers Green and Ticehurst where the B2087 leaves.
Finally the B2099 terminates at a 'give way' sign on the A21 near Swiftsden TQ7228 : B2099. A distance of 10 miles.
The Sussex Border Path is a footpath route nearly 150 miles long around the inland boundary of the county of Sussex. The county owes its origins to the kingdom of the South Saxons and can claim to have one of the longest inland county boundaries from Emsworth to Rye. The route was devised in 1983 and is well signed along most of the route. Website Link
