Chapter House and Sacrity at Fortrose Cathedral
The most recent use of this building was as a meeting place by Fortrose Burgh Council up until 1939. It has also been used as a Tollbooth and Courthouse.
Help please. I cannot find on any OS map Fortrose Town Hall. I gather it was converted from a Church of Scotland (1821) building to its present use about 1930. It is said to contain magnificent portraits of the Seaforth family bequeathed from Brahan Castle. See http://www.clan-mackenzie.org.uk/clan/brahan.html
