NN2204 : Scrambly bit, Ben Donich

taken 8 years ago, 4 km from Monevechadan, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Scrambly bit, Ben Donich
Scrambly bit, Ben Donich
The easy north ridge of Ben Donich has a surprise in store. A slope failure has produced a headwall which extends across the ridge. Beneath these crags is a huge jumble of boulders, cracks and caves as well as some steep crags. The way across the boulders and up or down the headwall is well marked and not too difficult.
