Rubha na h-Airde Seiliche
Rubha na h-Airde Seiliche
The B8043 coast road to Kingairloach is squeezed right down to the high tide line as it passes the headland of Rubha na h-Airde Seiliche, whilst the overhead electric cables climb up and over the ridge. The crags are composed of granodiorite of the Strontian Complex, intruded into Moine schists. The paddlers are heading southeast with the ebb tide, on a day's journey from near Corran Ferry towards the meeting of Loch Linnhe with the Sound of Mull, just short of Rubha an Ridire.
