Lamas St Andrew's church
Lamas St Andrew's church
A lovely little church in a rural setting. Only a few yards from the gently flowing River Bure. The church was built at the end of the 13th c. but was restructured 200 years later when the tower was added. Until 1887 the roof was thatched. Queen Elizabeth the Queen mother visited here in 1998 and signed the Visitors book. Only a copy is in the church the original is elsewhere.
