Lady Well, Hempsted
The structure is thought to be 14th century, and connected with Llanthony Priory, it lies a short distance across the fields from Hempsted church.
It has also been a place of pilgrimage, it is said the Mother of Christ, the Virgin Mary set foot here, and a spring arose to quench her thirst.
