Geograph - photograph every grid square

The sheep market at Knighton is held every Thursday (plus cattle and store sheep every first and third Friday in the month). These batches of animals wait patiently in their pens and the auctioneer is in full swing halfway along the second row. Livestock has been traded in Knighton for hundreds of years and old photographs show cattle being tied up and traded in the main street long before the market was built. The current market is owned by the Powys County Council and occupies the site of a former auction yard.
