Victoria Embankment

Victoria Embankment runs from Westminster Bridge to Blackfriars Bridge along the north bank of the River Thames and forms part of the A3211 road.
It was constructed by Sir Joseph Bazalgette, between 1865-70, as part of his building of the London sewerage network. Under the embankment are the sewers and the Metropolitan Underground line.

Blackfriars Millennium Pier

Blackfriars Millennium Pier is on the River Thames, in the Blackfriars area. It is served by boats operating under licence from London River Services and is situated on the north bank of the Thames, adjacent to Blackfriars Bridge.
Blackfriars Millennium Pier is a major transport interchange being close to Blackfriars station, providing direct interchange with Thameslink and South Eastern rail services, and with the London Underground Circle and District Lines.
