Fire Brigade workshops, Lambeth High Street
Built to maintain the Brigade's vehicles, but I'm not sure it is any longer in use. It lies behind, and was built at the same time and in a similar style to the Brigade's headquarters on Albert Embankment (TQ3078 : Lambeth: London Fire Brigade Headquarters, Albert Embankment, SE1). So probably by the London County Council's E.P. Wheeler in 1937. Brick with strong horizontal emphases and Art Deco touches such as curved projections and stepped piers on the ground floor.
