The photograph, taken from near the entrance to the villages southern car park, shows a northerly view along Main Street. In the distance is the junction ( Link ) of Main Street with The Square (to the left).

From the left, the building marked 1863 is (or wası) part of the old primary schoolı. Then there is The Sun (a Bass Charrington public house) and the pub yard. After that there is a Tea & Coffee Bar that sold, according to the sign on the wall, Cigarettes, Tobacco, Sweets, Chocolates, Gifts, Postcards, Films, Minerals, Snacks and Cakes.
