Minehead Station, Somerset:

The station was opened in 1874 with a single platform. It was the terminus and headquarters of the Minehead Railway. It was absorbed by the Great Western Railway in 1897, then nationalised in 1948. The line was closed by British Rail early in 1971. It reopened in 1976 and is now the terminus and headquarters of the West Somerset Railway, a "heritage" line which runs trains to Bishop's Lydeard, with occasional trips to Norton Fitzwarren.
