This plaque on the external southeast wall of the Whistle Stop Café in the High Street NT3336 : The Whistle Stop Café, Innerleithen was erected in 1913 by the Innerleithen and Traquair Burns Club and Friends to commemorate a visit by Robert Burns to the town in 14th May 1787.
