River Crouch at Battlesbridge
River Crouch at Battlesbridge
The bridge is the downstreammost on the River Crouch, and used to carry the A130 road until a bypass was built upstream. The name Battlesbridge is supposedly derived from the Bataille family who maintained the bridge for many years.
