Big Ben
Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster. The name has, by common usage, come to be accepted as representing the clock and the 320 foot high Clock Tower, seen here from Bridge Street. It is the largest four-faced chiming clock and the third-tallest free-standing clock tower in the world and is probably one of the best known landmarks in the UK.
