SP0887 : Post-industrial wasteland

taken 14 years ago, near to Birmingham, England

Post-industrial wasteland
Post-industrial wasteland
This is the east side area of Birmingham near Millennium Point and photographed from beside one of the locks on the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal. There has been extensive clearance around here but not much rebuilding yet. The ruined factory is the former furniture factory of the Co-operative Wholesale Society and has looked like this for quite a while. It was a rather poor Saturday afternoon but I believe that if you've made an effort you might as well take a few shots.
