The Menden sculpture in Greenfield Valley Museum
The Menden sculpture in Greenfield Valley Museum
This sculpture represents the ties between the Borough of Delyn and its twin town of Menden in Germany. The oak was donated by the Mayor of Delyn in 1988, it was carved by Mile Prerad, and it was then presented to the Borough Council by the people of Menden. There are two plaques on the sculpture - on the west side, one in Welsh: SJ1977 : Plaque in Welsh on the Menden Sculpture, Greenfield Park, and on the north side, one in English: SJ1977 : Plaque in English on the Menden Sculpture, Greenfield Park
