New houses on the Battle of Britain site in Penn, Wolverhampton
On the junction of Birchwood Road with Sandringham Road.
Bit by bit the new houses are being built on the site of the former Battle of Britain public house, demolished in April 2008. The pub sign has gone now. Please refer to other images in the square.
The sales blurb enthuses, "An outstanding new development currently being constructed by Tatton Hall Homes in an established and favoured area within easy reach of all local facilities, the City Centre and excellent schooling. The 9, three bedroom houses have been designed in a fine, contemporary specification and will benefit from a superb level of specification throughout including high insulation levels, UPVC double glazing including 'open and tilt' windows upstairs, gas CH, fashionable kitchen and bathroom fittings and all with private parking."
