Clopton House
Clopton House
Clopton House is described by Pevsner as 'Partly c.1600, partly of the late c17(VCH:c.1665-70), and much altered in 1830.' During the First World War the house was a hospital for wounded soldiers. Later the house was the home of the conductor Sir Thomas Beecham. Today it has been converted into apartments. The house is Grade II* listed.
