I have Head Keeper Matt to thank for this photograph. During Senior Keeper Izzy's talk, 'Kendra' spotted Matt, and ran off! Here she is, making her way back towards Izzy. 'Kendra' is part of a breeding programme, with the intention of releasing Scottish Wildcats (Felis silvestris) into the wilds of Scotland. It is thought that there are fewer than 400 'pure' wildcats remaining in Scotland.
