SU8091 : Lane End: Church Road

taken 8 years ago, near to Lane End, Buckinghamshire, Great Britain

Lane End: Church Road
Lane End: Church Road
The 1877 Ordnance Survey map shows that most if not all the houses in this view were already in place by then. The upside down Y-shaped pattern on the end wall of the distant terrace is quite common on houses in the vicinity and shows how brick was used for the chimney breasts while the rest of the house was constructed of flint.
