Looking over Drinahilly Mountain and its Transmitter Mast
Inner Dundrum Bay in the distance, taken from Slievenamaddy. The spelling Drinnahilly (with double N) is preferred by the Ordnance Survey and local usage; it derives from the Irish Droim na Saileach meaning "willow ridge".

For further details of the transmitter, see LinkExternal link Digital switchover scheduled for October 2012.
