Addycombe Cottages, Rothbury
Addycombe Cottages, Rothbury
By Richard Norman Shaw, 1873, to house retired staff from Lord Armstrong's estate (Cragside). Very prominent timber-framed gables, red-clay-tiled roofs and smart little porches at right-angles to the houses. Grade II* listed.
The choice of vehicle may reflect the tough conditions or profusion of potholes in these parts.
