Walking Madonna, Salisbury Cathedral
Walking Madonna, Salisbury Cathedral
The Madonna is a big lass. She's in excess of 6 feet (1.82m) in height. She was created in bronze in 1981 by Dame Elisabeth Frink. The Madonna has made her way south from Chatsworth House some time in the last four years LinkExternal link and has acquired a mobile phone. By the next time I photograph her I'd guess she'll have upgraded to a smartphone as her contract with T-Mobile runs out in November.
