SD4376 : The Ramp

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Arnside, Cumbria, England

The Ramp
The Ramp
Between Park and Arnside Points a sloping bed of limestone allows access from the coastal footpath down onto the sands at low tide. The tip of the bed has forced the falling tide to cut a miniature meander in the sand.
