Albert Bridge is a Grade II listed skew arch bridge (List entry Number: 1293278* LinkExternal link Historic England). Built in 1844, as a replacement for an earlier structure (New Bailey Bridge), it connects the cities of Salford and Manchester crossing the traditional boundary, the River Irwell.

* Prior to May 2015, the bridge was listed twice (also as List entry 1386090) because it is both Manchester and Salford.
