SH6413 : Footbridge across the Afon Arthog

taken 13 years ago, near to Arthog, Gwynedd, Wales

Footbridge across the Afon Arthog
Footbridge across the Afon Arthog
This stone-slab footbridge takes the Right of Way as marked on the map across the river only to return to this side about 100m later via an (easy) ford. The track on the right achieves the same without crossing the river. The rock face in the background is the Tyrrau Mawr ('great towers'), part of the Cadair Idris ridge.
