Approaching High Cross car park
Approaching High Cross car park
The extensive Grizedale Forest has a number of car parks around its perimeter giving access to the forest roads. This one to the north is on the Coniston to Hawkshead road. It was surprisingly under used when we arrived about 10 am on a fine Easter Monday; we were the first people to arrive.
