Laxey Station
As well as being the main intermediate station for the Manx Electric Railway, the station at Laxey is also the southern (and lower) terminus of the Snaefell Mountain Railway, and is therefore the island's only dual-gauge station. The coast line runs to a gauge of 3' 0" whilst the mountain railway has a gauge of 3' 6" to accommodate a central braking rail.

The tin-roofed station building dates from the early years of the line and features the station name in large lettering painted on its roof. This building houses a booking office and a café as well as the station toilets. The station building was extensively refurbished in 1994.
