Approaching Lord Crag
Approaching Lord Crag
The route of the Fairfield Horseshoe is deservedly popular, but it has led to a lot of erosion of the main footpath. Here we are midway between Nab Scar and Heron Pike, approaching an intermediate crag called Lord Crag. Actually I took the picture because as the couple in front of us left Nab Scar they were both waving banana skins around, and I spent the next half an hour following them making sure they did not chuck them away. They didn't.
