The top of the chimney which (to the layman anyway) seems to be in very good condition. If anyone happens to know its height or (better still, having seen the bill of quantities) can confirm the number of bricks used, they might drop me an e-mail.
Jennymount Mill, Belfast
No longer a linen mill, the premises in North Derby Street, were started in 1856. The extension is by Lanyon in 1891. Described as being in the style of an Italian medieval palazzo, it remains one of the great surviving pieces of industrial Victorian architecture in Belfast. On the “At Risk” register.
