View along the Wessex Ridgeway
View along the Wessex Ridgeway
The Wessex Ridgeway here goes down into Avebury. The church and some of the standing stones of Avebury can just be seen on the higher resolution image to the left of the image.

On the extreme left of the skyline are the two masts on Morgan's Hill and it is roughly to this point that the Wessex Ridgeway runs.

To the right of centre on the skyline the Lansdowne Monument ( SU0469 : The Lansdowne Monument ) on Cherhill Down.
