NS3581 : Former reservoir

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Colgrain, Argyll And Bute, Scotland

Former reservoir
Former reservoir
This body of water is shown from a distance in NS3581 : View of small loch. It does not appear on the first-edition OS map (c.1860); however, it was created before the end of the nineteenth century as a reservoir, with a dam at its southern edge (from which this photograph was taken).
