View south-east from the shoreline to this famous viewpoint and its Scots Pines. Wooded Lord's Island on the right and Walla Crag in the background. Friars Crag was believed to be the embarkment point for monks making their pilgrimage to St Herbert's Island in the middle of Derwent Water.
