This is the same passage as shown in NS4277 : Starfish Decoy control bunker: entrance passage, but the present view looks out rather than in. In the distance, Dumbarton Rock can be seen on the near side of the River Clyde.

During the Second World War, so-called Starfish decoys were carefully designed to provide very convincing false targets for enemy bombers.
