Devil's Jumps
Devil's Jumps
These are barrows which date back to about 3000 years. These are the best examples of a Bronze Age burial site on the South Downs - although some of the mounds were actually found to be empty. The string of barrows are aligned to the setting sun on Midsummer Day.
