taken 13 years ago, near to Charlestown, Cornwall, England

St Austell Bay: Charlestown Foundry
St Austell Bay: Charlestown Foundry
Converted foundry building and new housing at Charleston. Some of the foundry's products still survive - for example the 35' diameter high breastshot waterwheel at the Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum and country park, on the other side of St Austell. The foundry site is in St Austell Bay, a new parish created on 1 April 2009
