Maple Cross: Fly-tipping in Chalfont Road
One of the possibly unforeseen consequences of the recent widening of the M25 Motorway, and the need to introduce new service vehicle accesses off minor roads crossing the motorway, in this case to a new balancing pond and a new overhead gantry, has been to provide new locations for fly-tipping. In this instance broken asbestos sheeting and a car bumper are amongst the items dumped, while the flimsy gateway secured with cable ties has been broken and a mattress dumped further up the access road.
