The old post office and old packhorse bridge, Sinnington
The white-fronted house across the green once served as the village post office and is now a dwelling.
In the centre of the green and now standing over a dry ditch is an ancient bridge. The bridge, built as a hump-backed packhorse bridge with a segmental arch, was constructed around 1769 then partly rebuilt in 1794. It was last restored in 1966. The single arch and causeway span a dry ditch and were constructed to provide a route for packhorses across floodwater from the nearby River Seven.
