Corrin's Tower and Graveyard
Corrin's Tower and Graveyard
The tower was built around 1806 for Thomas Corrin. He buried his wife and two children in a small outlined graveyard next to the tower. Thomas died in 1845 and was buried in the graveyard by friends after having first been interred in Kirk Patrick Church Yard.
On the side of the step leading into the tower is an Ordnance Survey Bench Mark, which can be seen in image SC2383 : Ordnance Survey Bench Mark on step, Corrin's Tower
