NY1611 : The top of the scree descent from Wind Gap into Mosedale

The top of the scree descent from Wind Gap into Mosedale
The footpath follows a completely worn-out screen-run down the rocks to the left of this slope - no fun for anyone, and trying to get down it without causing yet more damage to the hillside is a nightmare. There are places where the scree is stable enough to descend without movement, but they are few and far between, and the grass patches are discontinous. The old-timers who scree-ran this descent have damaged it beyond repair, and I'd not recommend it to anyone now.
